Key Responsibilities:
Interface with production and quality teams to provide technical support on quality, production, and efficiency initiatives.
Support lean manufacturing through methods, workflow, and process improvements.
Define and control production processes, including documentation, tooling, and equipment requirements.
Design and maintain product specifications and ensure accurate BOMs and routes in the ERP system.
Analyze test and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Lead quality and productivity improvement initiatives.
Establish testing criteria for components and products to meet ISO, customer, and industry standards.
Provide technical support for capital projects.
Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with suppliers to support component quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering acceptable.
5+ years of experience in plastics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Application engineering experience preferred.
FMEA experience is a plus.
DOE and statistical analysis experience desired.
CAD experience desired.
Equipment specification, qualification, and automation experience required.
Ability to lead and supervise small cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in office and plant/warehouse environments.
May require operating or working around forklifts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
May involve exposure to weather, noise, and other plant conditions.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically range from $78,000-$126,000 annually.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
