Dura-Line is hiring for a Shipping Technician in Elyria, OH at our Sugar Lane location.

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:15pm

About the Role: This role handles shipping requirements for the plant including coordinating drivers, deliveries and pickups. Performs inventory control, provides weekly, monthly and yearly cycle count for plant and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including processing and printing bills of lading and related paperwork.

• Receive goods in SAP with appropriate documentation and storage.

• Examine outgoing shipments for defects.

• Assemble and package products and materials.

• Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and padding as needed.

• Adhere, stamp, glue, and label shipping information and instructions on boxes, reels, containers, and documentation.

• Maintain a neat work area and shipping yard in accordance with 5S+2 standards.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment.

• Basic computer skills and experience with MRP/ERP systems.

• Knowledge of warehouse systems, including shipping and receiving, FIFO, cycle counting, and inventory control.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Work is performed in plant, warehouse, forklift, and office environments.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• May be exposed to weather and noise.

• Personal protective equipment is required.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $20-25/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
