Key Responsibilities:
Disposition non-conforming materials from the manufacturing line.
Provide day-to-day production line process coverage and rapid response to out-of-control processes.
Investigate and implement countermeasures to improve Cpk and yield.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
Maintain and develop manufacturing instructions.
Support Lean Kaizen and 5S activities.
Work with Engineering and Manufacturing on maintenance instructions and schedules.
Summarize and analyze yield and process data.
Manage small multi-department and contractor projects.
Be fully competent in extrusion production lines and processes and serve as a subject matter expert for employees.
Train new employees, operators, and leads.
Requirements:
High school diploma, technical school, or one year of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
English language proficiency.
Eight years of experience in a technician role in engineering, quality, or manufacturing, preferably in a production environment.
Two to three years of plastic extrusion experience.
Lean/continuous improvement, Microsoft Office, and engineering tools experience desired.
Experience leading teams and projects, with the ability to influence others.
Physical requirements include navigating obstacles, wearing PPE, standing/walking for 8-12 hours, working near hot machinery, climbing, reaching, squatting, and bending.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $30.77/Hour.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
